Finally after months of consideration, I decided to take up the underarm hair removal package under Regina. I went to the Bishan Junction 8 branch. The whole session took roughly about 45 minutes - 30 minutes for consulation, 15 minutes for the actual procedure. Fret not, the whole zapping thingy takes about less than 5 minutes and you spend most of your time resting ( really like the cold cream after the zapping, it was said that there are whitening effect on the cream)
Anyway, I was worried it will be painful. My underarm hair is really very coarse and I did feel a little hot sensation when the zapping was shot. But other than that, it was rather painless and fuss-free. Before I knew it, it was over. The only discomfort I felt was to expose my ugly underarm to a stranger and the shaving process which was quite ticklish. The consultant Satsuki was very patient and when I told her it was ticklish, she became very careful with the shaving process on my underarm. It would be better to shave before you come if not the consultant will help you shave which makes the process longer~
The room was very clean and sleek. There is a cupboard for you to put your belongings and you will be asked to change and lie on the bed. The only thing I don't like was that there is no doors but curtains and it makes you feel insecure and it kind of remind me of a hospital (you know, how the nurse will close the curtain) After it was done, you will be asked to change and to make your next appointment.
** You cant zap if you are taking antibiotics or having your period.
** No deoderant/anti perspirant as it blocks the hair follicles.
**Shave before you go for your zapping session
I had to come back 8 weeks later for my next session. I really can't wait for a silky smooth underarm.. I understand that it may not be completely hair free, just that the hair will become finer but that's what I am looking for as I am very embarassed to even wear sleeveless clothes.
