We all know water is essential for the body, making up 70% of our entire body. Water provides life and help to flush out all the bad things. However, if they are drunk in the wrong way, it may cause water poisoning or burdening your kidney to work harder. So it doesnt mean drinking more water means better. 8 glasses of water is the recommended intake and it doesn't mean 8 glasses of just water. It included soup/juices/tea etc.I came across one of these in weibo and decided to share with everyone.
Drinking water in the healthy way, your daily water drinking schedule
2nd cup: 8.30am (caring & healthy)
3rd cup: 11.00am (rest & relax)
4th cup: 12.50pm (diet & detox)
5th cup: 3.00pm (awaken the brain & alert)
6th cup: 5.30pm (digestion & absorption)
7th cup: 10.00pm (detox & digestion &blood circulation)
I tried as much as possible to stick to the time table. It was difficult and required a lot of determination! I do feel an improvement in my overall mental state like I don't get that lethargic easily. Also, drinking more water make me poo better too.
In traditional Chinese medicine, drinking warm water is beneficial to the overall body health. It allows the body to function properly. Cold water is a big no no for women. Should you wish to drink cold water, avoid having ice in your drink and let the drink loses it heat somewhat before drinking it. Yes! Ice blended drink is a big no no!
Do not drink water after your meal or during your meal because this will dilute the gastric juices in your stomach which will affect digestion. The recommended time is usually 1/2 hour after your meal.
I have heard drinking 1 litre (equivalent to 4 cups) of water in the morning. I think that's kind of crazy because usually in the morning I can only drink 1 cup of water and 1 cup of milk before feeling bloated. However, I think the best way is to follow the schedule. I am not really fond of drinking water because I think it's tasteless and boring. So usually, I will add a bit of honey in my drink to make it at least "tastier" Sometimes I cheated by drinking tea instead. I love tea, especially my ginger tea and jasmine green tea!
Whichever it is, it is still important to replenish your body with water. No amount of moisturizer will help if you don't drink enough water. Trust me, your face will show! If your urine is a dark colour, please drink more water! Also avoid caffeine such as coffee. If you must have your coffee treat, drink more water after that!
Ok, I am going for my water treat now~ Ok, I cheated... I am drinking tea... LOL!
